Abstract

The comparative morphological and microscopical investigations of the samples of the barks of the Frangula alnus Mill. and Rhamnus cathartica L. was carried out. On the basis of morphological-microscopical study there were development the criteria of differential diagnostic of the barks of this plants allowed authentically to identify the drug of the Frangula alnus Mill. and clear to detect the potential admixture the barks of Rhamnus cathartica L., in the case of which the fruits are used.
