Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the concentrations of tumor markers in patients with gastric cancer. Examined of 30 patients with cancer of the stomach II-IV stage. ELISA in serum the surveyed were determined by levels carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cancer antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9), trophoblastic β1-glycoprotein (TBG), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). In patients with increased serum concentrations determined by all of the studied tumor markers, depending on the stage of cancer. Comparison of indices showed significant differences between stages of CA 19-9, VEGF and CEA. In these tumor markers was observed, and the greatest diagnostic value.
