Abstract

Main object of our research was the measurement of changes in thickness of the alveolar bone in the patient with muscular tonic syndrome. We observe 65 patients with muscular tonic syndrome, without periodontal disease. Compare group include 78 patients of the same age with healthy periodont and without symptoms of muscle hyper tonus. We compare results of the computer tomography and clinical research. It was find out that patient with muscular tonic syndrome has thinning of the alveolar bone and gum recession forming. These results means that patients with muscular tonic syndrome needs complex medical treatment including dentist and neurologist involvement.
