The article explores innovative solutions in the pipe industry (case of OAO TMK). The comparative analysis of the company position in the global market is conducted. The innovation activity of TMK enterprises in the previous years and for the future period are considered. The authors identify the problems which both the company and the pipe industry are likely to face.

Исследуются инновационные решения в трубной промышленности на примере ОАО «ТМК». Проведен сравнительный анализ положения компании на мировом рынке. Рассмотрен ход инновационной деятельности предприятий ТМК в предшествующие годы и на перспективу. Выявлены проблемы, вероятность возникновения которых высока как для компании, так и для трубной отрасли в целом.
