Abstract

An attempt to describe communicative intentions as speech tactics of argumentative discourse is made. The propositional structure and language manifestation of such speech acts as assertion and advice are considered. The necessity to study speech tactics as a means to construct various types of discourses, particularly argumentative one, is emphasized.
