Abstract

The paper discusses a case of prolonged fever with mononucleosis-like syndrome determined by herpes virus type 6 in a 5-year old child. The authors show that the virus can induce mononucleosis-like syndrome in children, which has the same clinical presentations as Epstein-Barr virus.

В статье представлен клинический случай длительной лихорадки, обусловленной вирусом герпеса человека 6-го типа, у ребенка 5 лет. Показана возможность вируса вызывать мононуклеозоподобный синдром у детей, клинически неотличимый от Эпштейн-Барр вирусной инфекции.
