The article presents a new reading experience poetic heritage of the first Komi poet IA Kuratov. In the history of the Komi national culture creativity IA Kuratov phenomenon of enormous social and artistic value. It marked the beginning of the creation of the Komi literary tradition and incorporating this tradition into the Russian literary process. In the article the all important facts of the biography of the poet, respectively considered the most significant thematic cycles of its poetic heritage, the interpretation of the most important in terms of the whole creative works.

Статья представляет собой опыт нового прочтения поэтического наследия первого коми поэта И.А. Куратова. В истории коми национальной культуры творчество И.А. Куратова явление огромного общественного и художественного значения. Оно положило начало созданию коми литературной традиции и включения этой традиции в общероссийский литературный процесс. В статье систематизированы все важнейшие факты биографии поэта, соответственно рассмотрены наиболее значительные тематические циклы его поэтического наследия, дана интерпретация наиболее важных в плане всего творчества произведений.
