Abstract

In order to solve applied problems the technique of a comprehensive assessment of the state of natural and human systems, which is based on the selection of informative indicators and events characteristic of the system under study, and most fully reflect its status, create a database of indicators, determining probabilities specific events and establishing linkages Mezhuyev probabilities, the construction of probability models and getting dependencies for practical calculations. On the basis of the research the technique of comparing the countries of Europe on a range of environmental indicators and the practical example of the analysis of statistical data shows that the proposed method allows a comprehensive assessment of the environmental laws of the countries set in the space of a few variables. This method of integrated assessment can be applied to a variety of natural and man-made systems, for example, countries, regions, cities, and natural and industrial complexes, as well as any set of baseline environmental indicators.
