Abstract

Ridge planter equipped with working bodies with flat disks, allowing for a single pass to perform several technological operations, is proposed. Paw-coulter sows seed at the depth of 3 cm, at the same time strews the seeds with loose and warm soil, shifted from the rows, as a result, there is trapezoidal shape soil mound over the seed, and then going roller-ridge-formers firm the sides of the mound of soil and finally form a ridge of soil of required dimensions. In this article, the authors theoretically grounded range drop soil working bodies and the distance between them. It is revealed that the distance between the working bodies with flat disks, the width of the ridge section of the seeder depends on the speed of movement of the ridge seeder and move of soil from the action of flat disks, angles of attack of flat disks, as well as structural parameters of the working bodies.
