«Земляки» Томаса Гарди: от импрессионизма к кубизму

Abstract

Рассматриваются черты двух характерных для ХХ века направлений импрессионизма и кубизма в произведении Томаса Гарди «Земляки». Сюжет новеллы, монтажное соединение элементов, обнажение авторской активности в тексте это предвидение черт кубизма, находившегося на самой ранней стадии формирования.The author considers two features characteristic of the 20-th century art trends impressionism and cubism in Thomas Hardys «Fellow Townsmen». The plot of the novelette, the way its elements are assembled, and the exposure of the authors activity in the text are a kind of anticipation of some traits of cubism at the very early stage of its formation.
