Abstract

The influence of complex antifreeze additives on concrete and mortar samples hardening kinetics during 28 days under natural fluctuations subzero temperatures (–20 ± 10 °C) incubation studied. The studies were performed on plastic concrete mixtures with mobility 1...4 cm and mortar mixtures with mobility 5...7 cm. Found that samples with antifreeze additives don’t get the strength growth under these conditions. Further samples hardening lasted for 28 days at + 18 ± 2 °C temperature. The final concrete samples compressive strength with «Krioplast LN» and «DFC-2M» additives is 48...45 % of the control samples strength. Control samples contained no additives and was hardening for 28 days at + 18 ± 2 °C temperature. Found that «Zimnya-Р-3» addition preserves mortars mobility and prevent freezing. In hardening kinetics study found that the final compressive strength with «Zimnya-Р-3» additive is below the strength of the control samples by 7…50 %.
