Abstract

The paper presents theoretical analysis of the influence of fundamental material properties, namely, crystal lattice constants, grain orientation factors and grain size on the stability of the process of longitudinal stretch-wrap forming of skin sheets. The dependence of the limiting stretch-wrap forming coefficient on grain orientation and structure parameters is established.
