Abstract

The article gives a short review of the treatment issues in cases of one of the most severe complications of portal hypertension,i.e. bleeding of varicose oesophageal and gastric veins. Diagnostic and therapeutic strategies are presented in the article.

В статье кратко освещены вопросы лечения кровотечений из варикозно расширенных вен пищевода и желудка, одного из самых грозных осложнений портальной гипертензии. Приводится лечебно-диагностическая тактика.
