
Study of public-law regulation of antimonopoly activity in Russia is topical. The author makes a number of important proposals with regard to amendment of Federal Law On Protection of Competitiveness by key definitions of direct control, indirect control, acquired person, potential competitor. The experience of administrative-law regulation of antimonopoly activity in the Russian Federation is important for improvement of functioning regulation of market mechanisms in economic sphere of Russia. Administrative-law responsibility for violation of antimonopoly legislation is a cornerstone for development of market relations in Russia. The author notes that at present the adoption of the third antimonopoly pack is being prepared: the special attention is drawn to the issue of increase of volume of administrative-law responsibility for violation of antimonopoly legislation of the Russian Federation. The authors conclusions can be used in law-making activity.
