Тенденции развития прокуратуры России в период 1722-1864 гг

Abstract

The article is devoted to foundation and development of prosecution service in Russia in 1722-1864. Basic features of legal status of prosecution service and officials are analyzed. The importance of the general-prosecutor as the emperor's assistant in decision of important state matters is stressed. Development of aims, tasks and functions of the prosecution service in aforementioned period of time is demonstrated. The author examines interaction between prosecution service and legislative, judicial and governmental bodies.

В статье рассматриваются предпосылки возникновения и тенденции развития прокуратуры России в период 1722-1864 гг. Характеризуются особенности правового статуса прокуратуры и прокурорских работников. Отмечается важность роли генерал-прокурора как помощника императора в решении государственных дел. Выявляется эволюция целей, задач и функций прокуратуры в указанный период времени. Исследуется взаимодействие прокуроров с законодательными и судебными органами, органами управления.
