Abstract

The positive effect of the current optimization veterinary and sanitary measures (liming of pond water, the gain in flow, reducing stocking density of waterfowl and use of aquatic and terrestrial plants) on the self-cleaning of the reservoir from organic and inorganic pollution. This effect was confirmed by the improvement of bacteriological and chemical parameters of water and sediment in the pond, which allowed providing favorable conditions for the cultivation offish along with waterfowl.
