Abstract

Analysis was carried out of the status and the development potential for the most informational closed market of professional mobile communications (PMR) and for the corporate mobile communication market closely related to the former. It was concluded that the potential of the market was considerably high but, at the same time, could not be used by applying the technologies that are operated at present. The solution of technical and commercial problems of Russian corporate and departmental users in PMR services is presented by developing the McWILL standard developed on the basis of TD-SCDMA and included in the recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union.
