Abstract

The article reviews the history of a linguistic source study, its formation as a special course in the 20th century. The author evaluates the contribution of S. Kotkov and his group to study of writing, and emphasizes actual problems of a linguistic source study at the present stage of its development. The development of these methods is one of the most important objectives of linguistic source study. The author reviews the problem of inclusions of monuments of paperwork of the XVII-XVIII centuries into scientific turn for further research by philologists.

Расматриваются история и проблемы лингвистического источниковедения, становление его как специальной дисциплины в ХХ в., оценивается вклад С.И. Коткова и его последователей в изучение памятников письменности, отмечаются актуальные проблемы лингвистического источниковедения на современном этапе его развития. Ставится проблема публикации и включения памятников делопроизводства XVII-XVIII вв. в научный оборот для дальнейшего исследования филологами.
