Статья посвящена вопросу формирования структурных моделей образовательного процесса высшего учебного заведения в условиях реформирования высшего образования Российской Федерации. Факторы внешней среды, оказывающие влияние на вуз как систему, постоянно меняются, вынуждая вуз в условиях дефицита ресурсов формировать реакции, позволяющие ему вести успешную конкурентную борьбу. В противном случае вуз рискует получить отрицательные эффекты вплоть до прекращения деятельности. Проанализирован образовательный процесс современного вуза. Проанализированы существующие традиционные модели образовательного процесса высшего образования Российской Федерации. Отмечены основные особенности. Так, информационно-образовательная среда является пристроенным элементом образовательного процесса.
