Abstract

On the basis of the literature studied, the authors have systematized the data on etiology, pathogenesis and therapy of one of the most common sexual dysfunctions, which is lack of libido. This literary investigation shows that existing data are rather few and contradictory, and this phenomenon requires further investigation, including looking into psychopathology of persons with these conditions and development of criteria for individual therapy
