Abstract

В статье рассматриваются проблемы возникновения временно-устойчивых словосочетаний (ВУС) в современном английском газетном дискурсе; приводятся типы и модели их образования и критерии отграничения от свободных словосочетаний; предлагается авторское понимание явления устойчивости; анализируются примеры, заимствованные из аутентичных английских газет, иллюстрирующие функционирование ВУС и трудности их перевода на русский язык
