(Bos mutus)

Abstract

The original technology for cryopreservation of epididymal and testicular yak spermatozoons was proposed, which permit to create the sperm cryobank of the Kabardino-Balkaria, the Pamirs and the Altai yak populations. The hybrid animals for the creation of new selective form were obtained. The cytogenetic and molecular-genetic characterization of the yaks from different regional populations was presented.
