Abstract

Solevarenny Gorodok was the first experience of the Russian government to develop natural resources in Ufa County in XVII century. One of the main obstacles to the commercial colonization of the region was the patrimonial rights of the Bashkir population, which were protected by the Russian government at the legislative level. This fact predetermined the decline and the futility of economic activity in the region, which was not integrated into the administrative structure of the Russian state.
