Abstract

Coordinated collective actions as the basis for the emerging civil society in Russia are discussed. The contents of the concepts of “collective actions” and “collective behavior” as well as analyzes of their place and role in the practices of civil society institutions are revealed. The concept of the collective behavior of G. Le Bon and G. Tarde in the context of the study of modern Russian civil society is discussed. The main factors contributing to the collective actions of people in the crowd are highlighted. The role of cultural factors, traditions, educational system in the formation of civilization is discussed. The thesis that the political and social institutions must correspond to the nature and level of development of the people is stated. “Crowd” and “Public” are compared. The author considers the criticism of irrational imitative impulsive actions of the crowd in the context of formation of civil society in Russia. The potential of crowd theory of G. Le Bon and G. Tarde in the study of modern civil society is discovered. The results of this study include the identification of the internal relationships of basic elements of classical sociological theories of G. Le Bon and G. Tarde, an overall assessment of their contribution to the development of a scientific approach to the study of collective behavior, as well as critical reflection of their ideas in the context of a modern civil society.

Рассмотрены согласованные коллективные действия как основа формирующегося в России гражданского общества. Раскрыто содержание понятий «коллективные действия» и «коллективное поведение», а также проанализовано их место и роль в практиках институтов гражданского общества. Подвержены разбору концепции коллективного поведения Г. Лебона и Г. Тарда в контексте изучения современного российского гражданского общества. Рассмотрены основные факторы, определяющие коллективные действия людей в толпе. Выявлены место и роль культурных факторов, традиций, системы образования в формировании цивилизации. Предпринята попытка установить связь между чертами политических и социальных учреждений и характером и уровнем развития общества. Сопоставлены категории «толпа» и «публика», выявлены их наиболее существенные отличия. Рассмотрена критика иррациональных подражательных действий толпы в условиях формирующегося гражданского общества в России. Сделан выводы о возможностях использования основных положений теорий толпы Г. Лебона и Г. Тарда при изучении современного гражданского общества. Результатами настоящего исследования являются выявление внутренних взаимосвязей основных элементов классических социологических теорий Г. Лебона и Г. Тарда, общая оценка их вклада в разработку научного подхода к исследованию коллективного поведения, а также критическое осмысление их идей в контексте современного гражданского общества.
