Abstract

In this paper we propose an integral criterion for evaluating the selective properties of various types of polynomial filters in the form of average steepness of the slope of amplitude-frequency characteristic and developed analytical technique of its calculation, compatible with computer mathematical programs. Introduced criterion is intended for use in automated systems designing filters and frequency-selective devices.
