The author investigates the prerequisites for the emergence of the language conflict of interpretations in mass media. The issue of the inherent potential conflict in a journalistic text is examined, which is caused by different factors, including the extralinguistic factors, determining the specific features of mass media and journalists' texts and of the language of mass communications.

Рассматриваются предпосылки возникновения речевого конфликта интерпретаций в медийной сфере. Автор исследует проблему потенциальной конфликтности журналистского текста, на которую влияют и экстралингвистические факторы, определяющие специфику медийной сферы и журналистского творчества в целом, и особенности самого языка массовой коммуникации.
