Город как объект культурологического исследования

Abstract

Рассматривается проблема «город», методологическое значение представляют работы отечественных и зарубежных ученых, разрабатывающих проблемы культуры города. Город вызывает целый комплекс изменений в экономической, социальной и культурной сферах жизни. Исследование городской культуры базируется на различных типологиях, определяющихся спецификой предметного поля исследования. На уровне отдельных исследований малый город и культурное пространство малых городов сохраняют свою целостность в качестве объекта исследования. Поэтому проблема изучения малого города как объекта культурологического исследования является актуальной и инновационной в современных условиях модернизации страны и развития городов.

The issue of the town is regarded based on the methodology developed by Russian and European scholars investigating town culture. It is argued that the town causes changes in economical, social and cultural spheres of life. The exploration of urban culture is based on various typologies determined by the specificity of research. The town and the cultural area of town preserve their integrity as an object of exploration at various levels of research, therefore, the issue of investigating the town as an object of culture studies research is relevant and innovative in the current conditions of modernization Russia and development of towns.
