
The article presents the results of the research of the essence of fi ction as a form of creative activity from the standpoint of Existential journalism theory and the theory of genres proposed by the author. The concept of the story (tale) as a pivotal, central genre in this sphere was substantiated. Also the author reviews the periphery (the basic, popular fi ction types and forms used by journalists in their creative work).
В статье изложены результаты исследований сущности беллетристики как вида творческой деятельности журналистики с позиции экзистенциальной теории журналистики и теории жанров, предложенной автором. Обосновано положение об истории (рассказе) как стержневом, центральном жанре данной сферы, а также рассмотрена периферия основные популярные беллетристические виды и формы, используемые журналистами в своём творчестве
