Abstract

Variable rigidity of multiple-diameter shafts and calculation complexity of their bending are stated in the paper. Difficulties occurring at enterprises while introducing automated calculations are noted. The expedience to use calculation methods with averaged moments of inertia is indicated. The method to calculate averaged rigidity is considered. The results of the practical check of the calculation technique are shown.
