This article deals with the problem of linguistic peculiarities in works of Gayto Gazdanov, one of the most representatives of the Russian literature in the foreign countries. The author's individual bilingualism, which can be classified as situational, seals both on the language and on the style of his works. There are some examples of the French-Russian interferences in the article that can be found both in grammar and in lexicon.
