Abstract

In this article the author examines and reveals the basic approaches to the definition and classification of extremism and terrorism. Particular emphasis is given to the economic mind extremism, as it is economic extremism aimed at the destruction of forms of ownership and management practices that affect the further development of the national economy. Historical and logical analysis revealed the main causes of this type of extremism and to identify the main groups of factors, which together create an extreme situation that could motivate certain social groups to extremist activity. At the end of the article the author makes general conclusions and recommendations for combating economic and other forms of extremism.
