Abstract

Prognostic algorithm of nascency and clinical course of femoroacebular impingement (FAI) syndrome has been developed for patients with juvenile epiphyseolysis of the femoral head (JEFH) depending on skeletal maturity. It is found that the risk of FAI exists in all patients with JEFH, except those who has 1st degree of displacement and are in the prepubertal period of sexual maturation. Patients with 3rd degree of displacement of the head, regardless of the period of sexual maturation, and patients in puberty period of sexual maturation, regardless of degree of neck displacement, have the highest risk for development of this syndrome.
