Abstract

Russian transnational corporations with FDI less than $0.5 billion are investigated. Two main groups of such companies are studied: leaders of industries with low capital intensity and large companies on initial stages of internationalization from other industries. Many examples of Russian transnational corporations from so named second echelon are given. Prospects of this group of investors are estimated.
