Институциональные изменения как условие повышения конкурентоспособности экономики

Abstract

В статье рассмотрена сущность институциональных изменений, обосновывается их необходимость для повышения конкурентоспособности экономики. Отмечается, что экономика Украины имеет высокий конкурентоспособный потенциал, но нерационально его использует. Установлена роль государства как основного субъекта, способного проводить институциональные изменения. Охарактеризованы этапы институциональных изменений в Украине. Определено, что низкий уровень конкурентоспособности национальной экономики вызван существованием неэффективных институтов. Предлагаются перспективные приоритеты институциональных изменений для повышения конкурентоспособности экономики Украины, определены основные задачи экономической политики государства в этом процессе.

The article considers the essence of institutional changes, their necessity to improve the economy’s competitiveness. It is noted that Ukraine''s economy has a high competitive potential, but the country uses it irrationally. The role of the government as the main subject, which can make institutional changes, is substantiated. The stages of institutional changes in Ukraine are described. It is stated, that inefficient institutions is a cause of the low level of the national economy’s competitiveness. The author considers the promising priorities of institutional changes aimed at the reinforcement of the competitiveness of Ukraine''s economy. The main objectives of the economic policy of the state in this process are defined.
