We present a unified model of oil-refining process built on the basis of standard models of mixing and separating operations. If necessary, one can replace these standard models with custom models, which can be embedded into the basic model by a certain way. The problems of inco¬n¬sis¬tency and multi-criteriality are discussed, an invariant is proposed for the generalized hier¬archical criteria.
