Abstract

115 pregnant women treated with Canephron N monotherapy or in combination with other medicines as well as their children were studied. Indications for the treatment considered renal diseases or preeclampsia. Pregnancy outcomes for mothers and fetus: parturition at term 112, preterm 3. Assessment of newborn's condition with Apgar scoring system: at minutes 1-5 only one newborn had 6/ 7 score, all other children had at minute 1-7/ 9 scores, at minute 5-7/ 10 scores. Evaluation of children condition after 6-36 months revealed that their mental and physical parameters were within normal range and sickness rate and structure correspond with same age groups in Saint-Petersburg.
