Коммуникативно-речевая культура врача

Abstract

The present article provides insight into communication and speech awareness/culture of the doctor. It sets out to substantiate the phenomenon of communication and speech awareness of the doctor as well as to establish its features in the professional medical communication. The article analyzed the current approaches to typologies of linguistic identities of the speakers on the basis of their speech activities and behavior. It also substantiated the concept of communication and speech awareness of the doctor, identified its main components (normative speech, epistemic and pragmatic components) and shed light on their constituents. Moreover, the article explored how these components are embodied in the medical discourse created by the doctor. The obtained conclusions can be applied for classifying types of communication and speech awareness of the doctor to enhance the effectiveness of communication.
