Abstract

One of the most important requirement for tendinous suture is its stability against break. The goal of the research is comparison of durability of most frequently used tendinous suture. Tendonsm fl exor digitirum profundus were taken from corpses and repaired by different methods. Stability to breakage was investigated with the help of technical device by pull force registration. The method appeared to be informative, having been applied for clinical assessment of different types of tendinous suture. It was proved, that introtendinous suture prevents deformation of tendons. Auxiliary surrounding tendinous suture in addition strengthens the basic one and bears mechanical loading.
