Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of memory of scientific community. The heuristic nature of the concepts of communicative, cultural, and historical memory of scientific community is proved for describing processes of formation of scientists’ collective memory. The authors give a classification of topics replicable in the historical memory of scientific community and reveal the main types of its personages. Ideological prerequisites for researching Russian history of science are described. The role of V.I. Vernadsky and the scientists holding the same views, such as M.A. Bloch, A.V. Vasil'ev, A.S. Lappo-Danilevsky in the organization of studies in history of science is shown.
