Abstract

Problem of building of two-dimensional model of sediment transport in coastal area of shallow reservoir, which is used for numerical simulation of the dynamics of accumulation coast, was considered in this work. Discretization of a mathematical model based on the balance method is made in this work. Proposed finite-difference schemes are stable and have second-order approximation error in the spatial coordinates and the first-order approximation error in the time. The net equations for a problem of sediment transport are constructed. The algorithm of calculation of factors of the net equations is offered.
