This article reports the results of the qualitative analysis of the present-day state of agriculture of the Tambov region with respect to the activity of peasant-farm enterprises of the region. The main financial-investment and productive problems of development of the agriculture are identified. This article also gives the characteristic of the institutional environment of operation of peasantfarm enterprises of the Tambov region, and shows the influence of this characteristic on both the agrarian potential of the region and the investment activity of managing subjects. This article proves the necessity of further development of the financialinvestment mechanism of management, and determines the main lines of enhancement of efficiency of the agrarian sector.

В статье изложены результаты качественного анализа современного состояния сельского хозяйства Тамбовской области в разрезе деятельности крестьянско-фермерских хозяйств региона. Выделены основные финансово-инвестиционные и производственные проблемы развития сельского хозяйства, дана характеристика институциональной среды функционирования крестьянско-фермерских хозяйств Тамбовской области, ее влияние на аграрный потенциал региона и инвестиционную активность хозяйствующих субъектов. В статье находит свое обоснование необходимость дальнейшего совершенствования финансово-инвестиционного механизма хозяйствования, и определяются основные направления повышения эффективности аграрного сектора.
