The article deals with the specific features of missionary activity development of the Committee of Orthodox Missionary Society in Ufa diocese during the period from 1879 to 1896. The author considers the missionary work of Bishop Dionysius, who initiated creation and spread of missionary schools in the Diocese of Ufa. It is concluded that the missionary work was developing rapidly and efficiently during this period in the territory of Ufa diocese.
В статье рассмотрена специфика развития миссионерской деятельности Комитета православного миссионерского общества Уфимской епархии в период с 1878 до 1896 г. Охарактеризована миссионерская работа епископа Дионисия, инициировавшего создание и распространение миссионерских школ в Уфимской епархии. Сделан вывод, что в рассмотренный период на территории Уфимской епархии проводилась успешная миссионерская работа.
