In the article are described the conditions of the insurance market of the Russian Federation through indicators of the size and structure of insurance fees and payments, level of payments on types of insurance; the current trends occurring in the market are characterized: merge of the companies, introduction of obligatory insurance of responsibility of owners of especially dangerous objects, influence of the law on agroinsurance on development of this sector of the market.

В статье описаны состояние страхового рынка Российской Федерации через показатели размера и структуры страховых взносов и выплат, уровень выплат по видам страхования; охарактеризованы современные тенденции, происходящие на рынке: слияние компаний, введение обязательного страхования ответственности владельцев особо опасных объектов, влияние закона об агростраховании на привлекательность данного сектора рынка.
