Abstract

The article investigates Florovsky’s allegations that thediscordance between him and Eurasianism had been taking place from the very beginning of the movement. Florovsky claims that back at that time he had warned initiators against dangerous underestimating of orthodox foundations of the culture and politicization. The author states that their actual split up takes place only in 1926-28 yrs., not owing to principals but an extremely personal reason. The reason was Florovsky’s teaching in Theological Institute in Paris. His past relations with Eurasianism might cause damage to his reputation as professor of theology.
