Abstract

The review presents the multiply studies regarding the examination of structure and biological effect of Insulin-like Growth Factors (IGF). We showed its positive influence on cell's proliferation and specialization, on growth and development process. Pathological events due to the excessive or deficient blood serum IGF levels are presented. We examined the possibilities of their clinical approach including diagnostic, therapeutic and forecasting objectives. The examples of beneficial effect of IGF in complex treatment patients with diabetes, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative and a number of other system disorders are presented
