Given was the efficacy of the apparatus-based treatment (CPAP therapy) in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Multiple reduction of the apnea/hypopnea index leads to an increase in oxygen saturation levels during sleep. Demonstrated was the positive impact of the long-term CPAP therapy on clinical and instrumental indicators of disease severity and quality of life.
