Abstract

The article is analyzing the particular ways in which a sociocultural identity is developed and shaped at the individual level while mastering the etiquette (the culture of proprieties). The author approaches the etiquette not only as a social and cultural phenomenon, but also as a psychological one, establishing what stages, mechanisms and forms of acquiring and mastering the etiquette are there, using the theory of different age periods and types of activities typical for each period of person’s life.
