Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of development of demographic modernization in the North Caucasus during the period between censuses of the 1897-1926 years, which have most full and precisely fixed components and the structure of population of the region. The top border of research coincides with an acceptance of the important document The code about marriage, family and guardianship. The author aspired to define specialties of the influence of historical process on the transformation of regional model of reproduction, to reveal a specificity of demographic transition in the South of Russia.

Статья посвящена анализу развития демографической модернизации на Северном Кавказе в период между переписями 1897 и 1926 гг., которые наиболее полно и точно зафиксировали состав и структуру населения. Верхняя граница исследования совпадает с принятием важного документа Кодекса о браке, семье и опеке. Автор стремится определить особенности влияния исторического процесса на трансформацию региональной модели воспроизводства, выявить специфику демографического перехода на Юге России.
