Гендерные особенности мелиоративных речевых актов в современном английском языке

Abstract

В данной статье рассматриваются гендерные особенности мелиоративных речевых актов с учетом специфики процесса коммуникации, а именно его формальным или неформальным характером и типом отношений, в которых состоят коммуниканты. Влияние гендера проявляется в выборе определенных синтаксических моделей и экспрессивных лексических средств для выражения положительной оценки в английском языке.

The article focuses on gender features of speech behaviour taking into account formal and informal character of communication process. The author explores how gender influences the choice of certain syntactic models and lexical means of the English language to express positive appraisal.
