Abstract

The paper discusses various approaches to the problem of management efficiency. The author differentiates between internal and external efficiency of industrial enterprises management. External efficiency of industrial enterprise management can be defined as management efficiency characterized by the degree to which its goals are achieved. Internal efficiency can be defined as the ability to allocate and use the resources of the internal environment (production, financial, investment, human resource capacity, etc.) for achieving the goals. The criteria of internal and external efficiency of enterprise management and their role in the control system are identified.
